How to Unlock Black Adam Skin

Fortnite fans will be able to unlock the new Black Adam Outfit skin and its related cosmetics in Chapter 3: Season 4 on October 20, 2022.

To promote DCEU's Black Adam film, Fortnite is debuting the Black Adam skin, an Outfit that allows fans to play as the powerful antihero, Teth Adam. This collaboration is not the first time that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's face has appeared in the Battle Royale world of Fortnite. During Chapter 3: Season 1, The Foundation was an unlockable Outfit by completing quests and progressing through the season's Battle Pass. Now in Chapter 3: Season 4, The Rock has made his return as Black Adam.

The new Black Adam skin in Fortnite will also come with some additional customizations for the Outfit. First, players can toggle Reactive to be on or off, depending on if they prefer the flashing glow emitted from Adam's boots, wristbands, and thunderbolt on his chest. Naturally, most fans will consider "Reactive On" a better spectacle, but it could be distracting when engaging in competitive gameplay in the Battle Royale mode. Next, Black Adam also has his black cloak with a large hood covering his head, as seen in the trailer for the movie.

Fortnite also will include Black Adam-related cosmetics items for players who aim to spare no effort in decking out their antihero skin. These cosmetics include the Symbol of Shiruta Back Bling in Fortnite, represented by an icon of three triangular mountains. Like the Outfit, these also have Reactive options. Hawkman's Mace is a new electrifying Harvesting Tool that is, according to the in-game description, "currently on loan to Black Adam." The final part of the package is Teth's Throne, an Emote that has players seat themselves on the crumbled throne of Teth Adam.

How To Get The Black Adam Outfit In Fortnite

To unlock the Black Adam skin in Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 4, players must purchase the Outfit from the Item Shop with V-Bucks. According to a tweet from Fortnite's official Twitter, players will be able to unleash justice as Black Adam after the skin and related cosmetics' release on October 20, 2022, at 8 PM ET.

Naturally, there will be overly enthusiastic community members claiming that the Fortnite skin can be obtained "for free," but this is not the case. Epic Games has already announced that Black Adam, including his related equipable items, will only be available with real-world money or V-Bucks earned from the Battle Pass or promo codes. Therefore, those with empty digital wallets in Fornite will need to replenish their account with V-Buck currency to acquire Black Adam in Fortnite.
